Objective
The main goal of this project was to build a fast and SEO-friendly affiliate website from scratch. I aimed to help the client rank for low-competition buyer keywords, get early traffic, and start earning Amazon commissions.
Project Summary
Gary wanted a niche Amazon affiliate website in the knife product space. His goal was to rank on Google, earn affiliate commissions, and build a long-term asset. I managed the full setup — from site design to SEO and content planning.
He needed a fast, SEO-ready website and support with the right keywords and optimized content. I worked step by step with my team to deliver the full service.
What I Did
I first designed a lightweight, mobile-ready WordPress site using the GeneratePress theme. I made sure the layout supported fast loading and easy navigation. For technical SEO, I installed the Yoast SEO plugin and configured sitemaps, schema, clean URLs, and meta tags.
Next, I ran detailed keyword research using Ahrefs and Semrush. I studied keyword gaps, search volume, and competitor pages. I focused on finding low-difficulty, buyer-intent keywords for faster results.
After finalizing the keywords, my team and I created well-structured content. We followed on-page SEO best practices like internal links, heading tags, keyword use, and optimized slugs. Each article was tailored to match search intent.
I prepared the homepage, category pages, and blog structure for indexing. The full site was optimized and ready for search engines to crawl and rank.
Results
The website was indexed quickly and started getting early impressions within weeks. Long-tail keywords began ranking on Google. The client received his first Amazon affiliate clicks soon after publishing content.
Gary was very satisfied with the site’s look, speed, and search visibility. The structure gave him a solid base for content growth.
